Two channels. Capture time is the main one: a frame shot between a setup's start and wrap belongs to that setup, and no frame numbers are needed at all. Frame numbers are the second channel — if you typed the number showing on the camera, it verifies the first. When both agree, the frame is filed with high confidence.

By design. When the two channels disagree, or a frame falls outside every recorded window, Lightplan files nothing rather than guess. A wrong diagram is worse than no diagram — you would light a reshoot from it. Open Photos ▸ Unfiled and assign them by hand; it takes a tap each.

If the camera clock drifted or the time zone was off, capture times will not line up with the recording windows. Fix the assignment by hand in Unfiled, and set the camera clock before the next shoot — everything downstream depends on it.

Frame numbers roll over at 9999 and repeat when you swap cards or bodies, so matching never looks outside the project you are importing into. Import each shoot into its own project.

There are two exits. Wrap · next setup closes this setup and immediately asks which light goes up next — so a new timer starts. Wrap up ends the recording outright with no follow-up question. Use the second one when you are done for the day.

Both numbers on the counter card are tappable — tap the start number or the current number to correct it. If the current number drops below the start, the start moves with it instead of being silently clamped.

Sync runs through your own iCloud, so: both devices signed in to the same Apple Account, iCloud Drive on, and Lightplan enabled in Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ iCloud. The first sync after installing can take a few minutes. Settings ▸ About shows the current sync state.

Long-press a setup or project to delete it, with a confirmation. Photos already filed under a deleted setup are not destroyed — they go back to Unfiled.
